Minimum Education: High School Diploma
Experience Pathway (Must meet one of the following):

Three years of relevant work experience, completed within the last five years

Five years of relevant work experience, completed within the last ten years.

Two years experience of relevant work experience, completed within the last ten years and a postsecondary technical school certificate in Building Construction
-
One year of relevant work experience, completed within the last ten years and an Associate degree in Building Construction
-
Bachelor’s degree in Building Construction

Other Qualifications: An Industry credential (such as US Dept. of Labor Apprenticeship Certificate, NCCER, State Contractor License, etc.) is preferred during the application process but not required. If an individual is hired for the position and does not have an industry credential, it is expected the individual will complete one during the first year of employment.
